Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between Koshi Osaki ("we", "us") and the person or organization that installs HANKO: Client Approvals (the "App") in a monday.com account ("you"). By installing or using the App you agree to them. If you accept on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to do so.
1. The service
The App lets you create shareable approval links for monday.com items, collect a recipient's approval or change request, and write the result back to your board. It runs inside monday.com and depends on monday.com's platform, which has its own terms.
2. Plans, billing and cancellation
- The App offers a free plan (currently up to 10 approval requests per month) and a paid plan priced at US$10 per month for your whole account.
- Paid subscriptions are purchased, billed and renewed through the monday.com marketplace under monday.com's billing terms. We do not collect payment details. Taxes, invoices, refunds and payment disputes follow monday.com's marketplace policies.
- You can cancel at any time from your monday.com billing settings. Paid features stop at the end of the paid period; your saved data is kept until you uninstall the App or ask us to delete it.
- We may change plans, limits or prices with advance notice through the marketplace. Changes apply from your next billing period.
3. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the content you submit, the files you include, and who you send links to. Anyone with a link can respond, so share links carefully.
- You must have the rights and permissions needed to share the content with your recipients.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the status column and labels you configure.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use the App to:
- break the law or infringe others' rights, or share unlawful, harmful, deceptive or malicious content;
- send spam or attempt to phish or mislead recipients;
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the App, bypass its limits or access controls, or attempt to access other customers' data;
- overload the service, scrape it, or use automation to guess approval links;
- resell or reverse engineer the App except as the law allows.
We may suspend access or remove content that violates these terms or puts the service or others at risk.
5. Privacy and communications
Our Privacy Policy describes how data is handled. We may contact you about your use of the App, such as support, security and service notices, and changes to these terms. We do not send marketing emails through the App.
6. Intellectual property
We own the App and its branding. You keep all rights to your content and data, and give us only the permission needed to host and process it to run the App for you. If you send feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
7. Availability and support
We aim to keep the App available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Maintenance, platform changes or monday.com outages may affect availability. Support is described on our support page and is provided by email.
8. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that an approval recorded in the App constitutes a legally binding signature or contract acceptance; you are responsible for deciding whether it meets your legal or contractual needs.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or USD 100 if you use the free plan). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these may not fully apply to you.
10. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your content, your recipients' use of links you send, or your breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it; uninstalling deletes your account's data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if monday.com removes the App or your account. Sections that by their nature should survive (including 6, 8, 9, 10 and 12) survive termination.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified through the App, the marketplace or email, and take effect on the date stated. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
